QuellTech GmbH is among the technologically leading manufacturers of 3D laser measurement systems. Our core competence lies in specializing in challenging measurement tasks – where others reach their limits, we begin. Our modular concept allows us to precisely adapt the sensors to specific measurement requirements, whether under normal or extreme conditions such as on glowing metals, at high speeds, in-line before welding processes, or underwater.

Who is QuellTech?

QuellTech GmbH, headquartered in Munich, has been producing high-quality laser sensors for precise 3D measurement of objects since 2009. Our focus is on offering complete solutions for industrial image processing worldwide because we are convinced that the quality of the software depends on the hardware that generates the data.

Our strength lies in implementing technically challenging projects through a holistic turnkey approach. We simplify and expedite complex initiatives by understanding and considering the technical interactions between hardware and software in image processing projects based on our extensive experience. Current Development Projects at QuellTech:

  • Q8 - New sensor technology for measuring the microstructure of road surfaces:
We are working on an innovative, hyperspeed, and highly accurate optical sensor technology that opens up new applications in measuring the microstructure and grip level of road surfaces and other high-speed applications. Currently, we achieve measurement rates of up to 125 million data points per second.
  • Breaking strength and service life of welded seam:

In collaboration with partners, we are researching and developing algorithms that calculate the fracture resistance and lifespan from a 3D point cloud of weld seams. Our focus is on ensuring high-quality welded connections.
